In case of the need to change my Smart ID card, would the virtual money on my old card be transferred to my new ID card?
No. You have to transfer all the money deposited on your old card back to your İşBank account before you return your card back to the Directorate of Personnel Affairs. You can also carry out this transaction by using the ‘Sanal Para Boşaltma’ (Withdrawin Virtual Money) menu option found on the cüzdanmatik and ATM machines located in the campus.
‘Sanal Para Boşaltma’ (Withdrawing Virtual Money) menu cannot be used if your Smart ID card is either disabled or lost its validity. You can apply to İşBank-METU to cancel the account linking in order to transfer your money back to your linked account.
