A signed document undergoes multiple processes in the background (such as applying the e-signature, timestamping, creating the EYP package, signing any attachments, and ensuring the document gains an immutable official status).

These processes occur at the moment the signature is applied. Therefore, documents that have been signed and sent to the secretary cannot be modified; the document must be recreated from the beginning.
