How can I use e-signatures in EBYS? [Windows - Step Three: How can I download the DSClient application?]

1- Download the appropiate version of the DSClient application to your computer and complete the installation.

  • DSClient (.NET CORE 3.1) (latest version: 1.5.5) (When installing DSClient to Windows, it is advised to first install and try the .NET Core 3.1 version. If this version is not usable, then the .NET Core 7.0 version can be installed.)
  • DSClient (.NET CORE 7.0) (latest version: 1.5.3)

IMPORTANT NOTE: For users with DSClient versions earlier than 1.5.5, in order for them to e-sign without any issues, users need to either update to 1.5.5, or follow the provided steps in https://faq.cc.metu.edu.tr/tr/sss/ebys-dsclient-lisans-dosyasi-degisikligi to change the license file.

If your antivirus detects the file as suspicious, allow the file to run.

Or Microsoft Defender can give a warning like the picture below:

Click "More info".

Then click the "Run anyway" button.

The installation complete.
