What are the differences between sending a document for wet signature and sending it for e-signature?

The main principle in EBYS is to complete all transactions using electronic signatures. In this way, documents will be created entirely electronically and will be transmitted electronically to internal units or external institutions, ensuring their validity.

However, in cases where the signatories do not have electronic signatures or their signatures are invalid, documents can be prepared with wet signatures.

For documents prepared with wet signatures, a printed copy must be signed by all authorized signatories, then physically delivered within the institution using traditional methods, and sent by mail to external institutions. Documents that are neither electronically signed nor printed and signed with a wet signature are not valid.
