My position has changed, but I keep receiving documents about my old position, why?

There can be multiple reasons for this:

The most common reason:

If you were responsible for the documents about your department at your old position, you should state your position change to ebys-destek@metu.edu.tr. If you do not state the change, you might keep receiving documents about your old position.

Other reasons:

Documents that are still in the confirmation process or documents that are prepared using old templates might need your action, which can lead to you receiving the document. You should notice the sender about the situation, refund the document and ask them to take your name out of the document.

The document may have been sent using sending groups, you should ask the sender to take you out of the sending group. You can leave a note about the situation and send the document back.
